Novomix 50 100ui/ml 5x3ml is a concentrated solution of insulin aspart, a rapid-acting human insulin analogue. It contains 50% insulin aspart and 50% crystalline insulin aspart protamine suspension, which provides a prolonged action. The solution is administered as a subcutaneous injection for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in adults and adolescents. It is available in 5 prefilled 3 mL injection pens containing 100 IU/mL of insulin aspart. It is generally used to control blood sugar levels and can be used in combination with other types of insulin.
